I bought this laptop 2 years ago to use for my Graduate School and as my main home/entertainment/gaming computer. It came with the following specs:
* Intel P8600 2.4GHz Processor,
* 4 GB of Ram,
* 320 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive,
* ATI Radeon HD 3650 Graphics,
* Widescreen 1280x800 anti-glare display,
* LightScribe DVD+/-RW
The body of the laptop is made of aluminum and hard plastic with a very rigid magnesium alloy inner frame. This thing is built like a tank and looks like it can stop a bullet. It is absolutely unbendable and practically unscratchable. At the same time it is not too heavy - a little over 6 lb. It also looks very cool - very like a Macbook Pro. There are no reflective or glossy parts anywhere, so it is easy to keep the laptop clean.
I installed Windows 7 Pro x64, MS Office Pro 2010, Firefox 4, Adobe CS5, Becker CPA Review Software, Avast Antivirus, and several other productivity programs. The system is very stable - I have never had any problem.
I usually keep a dozen Firefox tabs and Office documents open, Windows Media Player playing music, and also work with Adobe or Becker. No sweat. The application performance is very good thanks to the fast processor and speedy 7k HDD. Adobe Suit of course is a resource hog but still works reasonably fast on this computer.
I also installed Crysis, Left 4 Dead, SC2, Bishock, and several other games. All the games (except Crysis) run smoothly on medium settings at the native screen resolution. Crysis is playable on low settings only. Older games like Warcraft 3 run on the highest settings. The laptop does not get too hot and the fan is quiet.
The battery easily lasts 4 hrs when browsing Internet and working with the Office and/or Becker with Wi-Fi on and the screen on medium brightness. So, I think that performance of ATI Radeon HD 3650 is a good compromise between the power and mobility.
The screen is perfect for office/school work and gaming. It is bright, non-reflective and has good contrast. The resolution of 1280x800 is also very suitable for these tasks. The higher resolution would make text appear too small and would not let newer games to be playable in the native resolution. However, as an avid photographer, I would like to have more resolution to work with my pictures.
There is a high resolution (2mp) Web camera and a very good built-in microphone. So, Skype is pleasure to use. The built-in speakers are good and clear, though I usually use external speakers or headphones.
The illuminated keyboard (there is a very cool built-in light) is very comfortable and quiet - one of the best I have ever used. I like the touchpad too - it is very responsive with the soft and quiet buttons. There is an amazingly accurate pointstick - IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad style - with its own dedicated buttons. There are several touch-sensitive media buttons above the keyboard: Info, WiFi Toggle, Presentation Mode, Sound Volume and Mute. Very sleek. The fingerprint reader adds security. There are lots of connectivity options here:
* Docking port on the bottom - extremely convenient, I use it every day to connect the laptop to a docking station.
* A/B/G/N Wireless LAN which works flawlessly with my campus network,
* 10/100/1000 NIC port - use it to connect to a DSL modem at home
* Bluetooth 2.0 EDR - often use it to connect the computer to my cell phone,
* 56k modem - used once when I took the laptop to Ukraine,
* 4x USB 2.0 ports,
* Very fast ESATA port - use it for back-ups with my external HDD,
* 1394 Firewire port - never used it,
* 1x Headphone out + 1x Microphone in
* HDMI port - connect it to my big HDTV
* VGA out - used it several times to connect the laptop to a projector during presentations
* SD/MS/Pro-MMC Card Reader - use it a lot to transfer pictures from my DSLR
* Express card slot + Smart Card slot - never used them
All the ports are located very conveniently with the Power Socket and the VGA on the back, 2 USB and Network on the far left edge, and the rest in the middle of the sides. So, the cables that are most likely to be connected (and the thickest ones) are on the back and do not get in the way. But I use the docking port on the bottom (unique to business laptops) to connect all wires to the dock (and move them all back at the same time) and then connect/disconnect the laptop with a single push on a button. Priceless!
Long story short - I am very satisfied.

This little Mac CPU is perfect for people who want a powerful but inexpensive CPU without the frills. Just 2.5" high and 6.5" square, it fits almost anywhere: on a desk, in a drawer, on a narrow shelf. The unit comes with a Mac SuperDrive for burning and playing DVD/CDs, a remote control, BlueTooth technology, the iLife Suite (iPhoto, iTunes, Garage Band, Photo Booth, iMovie, etc.), and the newest OS X. That's it. You have to buy your own keyboard, mouse, monitor, and anything else you'd like to add.
This little unit is also great for hooking up to a TV as a stand-alone HD video replay. Especially if you rent or buy iTunes movies and have different digital content you want to play, the Mac Mini works well. Apple TV, a special purpose machine, doesn't have the versatility that the Mini does.
Pros:
-- This little guy is fast and reliable. If you are not confident about installing extra memory yourself, this 2 GB version is for you.
-- Size. No more towers!
-- Leopard is utterly fantastic. Make sure you take the "tour" to fully appreciate its capabilities and features since many aren't immediately obvious. It allows easy sharing of files within a network, wireless or otherwise, automatics back-ups to an external hard drive (purchase separately) that can be accessed according to a specific date and time, and in-network video conferencing (again, you have to supply the web cam.) My favorite feature is setting my computer to turn on at the same time every day so it's ready to go when I walk into my home office.
-- The no-frills package allows users to buy their preferred size of monitor. Since monitors bought separately usually cost far less than what Apple charges, this ends up being a cost saver as well. The Apple keyboard works best with the Mac mini since there's a special key for ejecting CD/DVDs, but any keyboard will do.
Cons
-- The power button is on the back of the machine, while the Super Drive slot is in the front. This means that the unit must be accessible, both front and back, unless you set the system to turn on automatically. This is the main reason I cannot give this unit five stars.
-- The Super Drive is noisy when it starts up.
For people who want to keep their current monitor and other peripherals, the Mac Mini is an excellent and economical choice. If you need to buy all the accessories, the price can start to add up, and you might want to look at a different computer. Even so, the small size can be a huge bonus for those who are short on space.
I love my Mac Mini, and I've never regretted purchasing it.
-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Got this item last month and it rocks, can't beat value & reliability for price. I do have a few little gripes.
Good:
This is a decent head unit with very good interface, screen clarity and DVD playback. Sound quality was very good considering I have no amp and I liked that sound options could be configured. I read reviews on other sites before buying and as advertised most of the functions worked. I was able to play DVDs, MP3 CDs, and regular CDs. The bluetooth worked ok for audio transfer (with Nokia 6230 & Blackberry Pearl), and handsfree mic sounded ok on receiving end. I like the piano black with brushed chrome look and feel. I did not install the backup camera, and did not get the tv tuner unit in time for the install, but the aux-in port works fine.
Gripes:
I haven't gotten the ipod interface to work yet though - i currently have an Ipod nano (3rd gen). The Dual logo displays on the ipod, but the head unit keeps saying "connecting..." I think it may be a compatibility issue with the nano firmware version. Will check this out, but I can use the 3.5mm in jack as an alternative, and the nano does get charged using the ipod jack connection. I had to use a by-pass for the parkbrake - had a little trouble at first, but resolved this. Would have liked this unit to come with Divx and have more functionallity with the bluetooth - does not read call address book on blackberry pearl correctly. Tends to get warm quickly.
Overall:
This unit was professionally installed in a '04 "Corolla". Installation was quick and almost pain free (by-pass to parking brake took some time - I do not live in a state with video restrictions). I would recommend this unit to any one. Its a good sturdy unit with lots of features, and I could not find another unit at lower price vs reliability concerns.

Pioneer Electronics Audition Series XW-NAS3 Docking Station for iPod (White) Review

Pioneer Electronics Audition Series XW-NAS3 Docking Station for iPod (White)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
THE GOOD: Charges Ipod/Iphone when on or off. Unobtrusive styling. Dedicated volume controls. Remote control.
Component video out to play videos from your Ipod/Iphone on a television or monitor. Video looks great on HD tv's. Audio in jack for non-ipod music players. Bluetooth adapter to play music remotely. Rich, full sound with a nice sub-woofer (even works for larger rooms).

THE BAD: Larger than many Ipod docks (such as JBL On Stage). Remote control only works when pointed directly at the front of the dock with 30' range. Bluetooth must be manually connected each time. No dedicated Bass/Treble controls (must be performed on the Ipod/Iphone).
BOTTOM LINE: Pioneer's Audition Dock for Ipod/Iphone provides rich, full, room filling sound with great extras like Bluetooth connectivity and video playback on your television.Full Review:
DESIGN:
Sleek black plastic case with dock on top for the Ipod/Iphone and a dedicated sub-woofer underneath.
Although somewhat large in size (about the same as a large loaf of bread), the dock has clean lines and a smooth surface which should blend in well in just about any room.
Power and volume control buttons are on the top and can also be controlled with the included remote control.
Input button switches between the dock, video output, Bluetooth, and aux input. The input button blinks a certain number of times to tell you which mode you are in. Usually, I end up just pressing it until the sound comes out. There are lights on the front of the dock which glow faintly red also telling you which mode you are in (Bluetooth is on the left and slowly blinks telling you to connect).
CONNECTIVITY:
Comes with a large array of connectivity options.
Located at the rear of the dock are connections for Component video out, video out, auxiliary input, and an input for the optional Bluetooth adapter.
All connections are clearly marked and color coded to prevent connection errors.
FEATURES AND PERFORMANCE:
Has 2.1 channel sound which means two speakers and a sub-woofer.
The speakers deliver rich, clear sound with excellent bass and filled a 30'x 30' room sounding much better at high volume than any other Ipod/Iphone dock that I have used. Some speakers sound "buzzy" at high volumes but this one maintained perfect audio fidelity even when turned up all the way.
The music sounded great with a wide variety of music from Van Halen's Eruption to Sheryl Crow's First Cut is the Deepest, or Tribe Called Quest's Award tour. When docked, you can play music from apps like Pandora or Slacker as long as you have WiFi or 3G coverage.
The remote control controls volume, input, and skip/play/pause. The remote control range is 30 feet. Interestingly, the remote only works when pointed directly at the front of the dock. You can be literally right next to the dock and the remote won't work until you point it at the front.
The Bluetooth adapter works well and gives you the ability to play music (including Pandora or Slacker or any other music app) from around 30 feet away. You control the volume with your remote and switch the songs with your Ipod/Iphone. Connecting to the player takes around 10 seconds. Well worth the money for the added flexibility.
The video function works surprisingly well. I tried both the video and component video options with my TV and played movies and TV shows from my Iphone which looked fantastic. Picture quality is as good as regular TV and the sound comes from the Dock (not your TV). I could see this being useful on trips/ travelling or if you have a large collection of videos on your Iphone/Ipod.
The auxiliary input works as expected with other music players including my wife's Blackberry. Doesn't sound as good as when the players are physically docked.BOTTOM LINE:
With the Audition Series XW_NAS3-K Docking Station for iPod (Black) Pioneer Electronics have created a superb Ipod/Iphone dock that delivers rich full sound and delivers the versatility of excellent Bluetooth and video playback. It's well worth the money for its performance, features and build quality.

I purchase this device because I had already purchased hearing aids and was having difficulty using them with my cell phone. I could've bought a new hearing aid that had the blue tooth built into it but it wouldn't cost several $1000. This device was an inexpensive and it works perfectly. It was easy to pair with my cell phone and has functioned for over six months. I would recommend it to anyone who has the ability to use a blue tooth device.

Average Reviews:

This is a good solid barcode reader. The big news is Bluetooth connectivity, and this thing transmits a very long distance.
There's a very important thing about this reader - this product is the Scanner and Battery ONLY. The box does not include a charger or Bluetooth receiver. Yes, you read that correctly, absolutely NO charger in this box. Right now I'm kind of scratching my head over where I'll find a charger for less than a hundred dollars (the Wasp website lists them, and they are super expensive).
December 9, 2010 Update: If you wish to buy this unit through Amazon (the pricing here is really good compared to other sites) - you will have to add one of two charging bases. They are virtually impossible to find using normal Amazon searches. This is the somewhat expensive solution: Informatics WASP WWS 800 CHARGER WITH RADIO ( 633808920043 ). Here is the solution for a charging stand only: Informatics WASP WWS 800 CHARGER NO RADIO ( 633808920036 ). By the time it is all said and done, this little Buzzer Wasp unit will cost well north of four hundred dollars. The secret handshake to find these on Amazon - you have to use the Wasp part numbers, and to get those you have to go to the Wasp website.
As it says in the product description, this is an excellent scanner for warehouses and mostly dry environments. The scanner is covered in a soft rubbery material and feels like it would take a lot of abuse. On the other hand, it won't survive a big drop on concrete. It also won't make it through high pressure washing or using in a really wet area. There are Wasp models that are IP68 (six feet to concrete drop and waterproof) rated, but they are wired. The clear plastic cover over the laser area is recessed. However, if it ever takes a direct hit, the plastic looks pretty fragile.
The scanning range is decent, around six to twelve inches. The scanner puts out a pretty wide fuzzy red laser zone for reading. I was able to read some very narrow dense barcodes even though the red zone was very fuzzy. Out of the box the positive scan buzzer is really loud and annoying.
I was able to hook this up to a Dell laptop with built in Bluetooth. It was very simple to pair. After that initial pairing, the unit connected very quickly and effortlessly to my computer even after turning off the scanner or the laptop.
There is no on/off switch on the scanner. The only way to really turn it off completely is to remove the battery in the bottom of the unit. Sadly, for a unit this rugged, the battery is a finicky little thing to remove - you have to slide a cheap little plastic flat back to release the battery. The base has exposed metal contacts for charging and a small hole for an A/C adapter (again, neither base station or A/C adapter were included with the scanner.
Putting the scanner in pairing mode is, well very strange. You have to print out a PDF from the included CD. There are several barcodes you have to read to put the scanner into keyboard mode (or something similar to that) and then pairing mode. After hitting the last barcode you then turn on Bluetooth discovery on your computer. You have to select this strange little PDA icon for the keyboard. Then, in my case, the scanner connected very quickly and magically became keyboard entry. Open up WordPad or any other program, scan any old barcode and the characters automatically appear. It seems like amazing magic.
Bluetooth range is really impressive. I was able to use this through a metal door, then a steel floor, with the computer over thirty feet away. The scanner never lost connection and scanned perfectly each time.
If your barcode application is simple, the scanner works right out of the box easily. If you require barcode scanning programming, there is a reference manual to set every parameter imaginable on this thing. The book is not very user friendly; it's more like a programming language and complicated to figure out at first. I got in a lot of trouble programming this thing to read strange barcodes; fortunately there is an all default scan to reset the thing.
Overall, this is a light weight, rugged scanner that has really good battery life and decent scanning range. The great big bonus here, Bluetooth works super well. If your computer already has Bluetooth, I see no reason to even think about the outrageously expensive adapters available from this company.

I've had very mixed luck with this machine. The pros listed in the very positive reviews are right on--it is fast, it is sleek and light etc etc. However, I've experienced some serious problems with this machine:
1. The drivers for the video card are incredibly buggy, and routinely lead to the screen blanking out (this is a well known problem, and it still hasn't been satisfactorily fixed).
2. Windows vista has never worked well. I'm not sure if this is a Vista issue or a hardware issue, but this machine and this OS have not worked well together (e.g. I initially could not shut the machine off except by using the power button--vista has a lot of shutdown options, all of them simply froze the computer; the machine still crashes, freezes and slows down at random).
3. I've had problems with the Wi-Fi -- it's simply not that great at picking up a signal. On several occasions I've had to borrow a laptop to get online; other machines were picking up the signal but not this one.
4. The computer regularly simply stops working. It won't start, or if it does it won't boot. I suspect it was simply set up very poorly by whatever Dell tech put things together. I paid a computer technician a couple hundred bucks to go through the system, and this made things a lot better--but it made the problems less frequent rather than cured them.
A simple summary of my experience with this machine can be summed up by this fact: I'm writing this review on my wife's MacBook because my XPS is currently in its "I'm not working today" mode.
I've been a huge Dell customer over the years--this is my fifth machine ordered from Dell. There will not be a sixth.

I purchased this unit instead of getting a new PDA about 3 weeks ago. I wanted something I could use with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access that would be smaller (lighter) than a full blown notebook, but would be usable between meetings at client sites where I had time but no access to a computer. I also wanted to take it on vacation to check e-mail without having to lug a notebook. It's about the size of a daytimer. If you get the leather cover from Fujitsu, it really looks more like a daytimer than a computer.
I was also interested in the tablet functions and this is my first Vista system. I viewed it as a "learning Vista, simple work function unit/toy". Plus the price was right. I didn't want to spend $1500 for a unit as at that point I could get a new notebook.
Pros: Light weight, after training- handwriting recognition does a very good job recognizing script, long battery life. Stylus can be used on screen instead of mouse. Full size bluetooth portable keyboard (iGo for PDA) worked fine, once I figured out how to turn the keyboard on- it's buried in the on-line keyboard manual. 5.6" screen is small, but you can adjust the fonts both in the Vista display (although you loose some of the bottoms of the control panel menus when you do, you have to tab blindly to get them back- but I think that's a Vista issue), or you can adjust the View settings in the application. Word, Adobe Reader, and IE can all go higher than 100%. It's still much better than trying to type a document on a PDA.
Cons: Processor could be faster. Fujitsu used a phone processor, so they probably saved on $ and power, but it makes start up slow and you have to wait for it to finish doing stuff in the background. Can only get 1GB of memory, no expansion capabilities. Only 40GB of hard disk, 18GB is used by Vista Home Premium, so only 22GB is left after installation of OS. Don't plan on putting a lot of pictures on it. Stylus doesn't always register taps as clicks and I have to use upper right mouse buttons or hit "enter". I've tried playing with tablet settings, but noticed this was a problem in other reviews.
Having said that though, I have really been enjoying the unit and I will probably purchase a new one if they upgrade the CPU, memory, and disk.
Get a screen protector if you're going to use the tablet functions so you don't scratch the screen. I tried one of the ones that you only need to put on once, but when it went on there were a lot of bubbles that didn't disappear in a couple of days as the directions said they would and it produced a lot of glare. Getting it off was a problem because it was pulling up the the actual screen as I tried to get it off. It was only on 2-3 days, so I can't imagine what would happen had it been on months. I had to carefully and slowly pull one side while holding down the side where it just came off so the screen wouldn't stretch. I got the Fujitsu screen protectors and although they recommend they have to be replaced periodically it was much easier to get on and looks like it will come off without damaging the unit.
If you do get one, go to www.microsoft.com and get the SyncToy. It's a free download. It allows you to synchronize folders between a computer and external or network drive. I have a large network drive and I synchronize my folders between my larger notebook and the U810.
I also don't actually do shutdown. I close the top and wait for the lights to go out (the drive stops spinning) then put it in my bag. This speeds up starting up. May not be recommended, but I've been doing it with my larger notebooks without incident. Just have to be very careful when transporting- no tossing the bag into the car.
I have a Samsung LCD TV that can double as a PC monitor and I can use that as an external monitor with the included external adapter. I ended up buying an LG portable DVD reader/burner with lightscribe from Best Buy for $99 to load software. It is powered by the USB port on the U810 and sits perfectly under it. If you plan to watch DVD's on battery it will reduce your battery time. I haven't watched a movie, but I loaded software using the battery and I got about 3.5 hours off the battery charge.
With a faster processor, more memory, and disk, I would have rated this a 5 star as it could have become a desktop replacement by using an external, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
If you want something portable to throw in your bag, to use periodically, this is great. The battery life will give you just about a days worth of use so you don't have to take a power supply or extra battery. If you're looking for a full time laptop replacement look elsewhere. You'll be disappointed by the small screen, slow processor, and limited disk and memory.

I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favorite notebook for browsing the internet, writing letters, and even reading pdf's. It's very lightweight and I consider the screen the perfect size. It's held up very well. One of the keys has a hairline crack and one of the rubber feet on the bottom fell off but I clean it every month or so and it still looks almost new.
My only criticism is that it gets a little warm so I keep it on top of a clipboard when holding it in my lap. No viruses, no crashes, no worries.
When netbooks started becoming popular a couple of years ago, I had to laugh because I already have a lightweight, handy netbook. In fact, I'm using it right now to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a used iBook G4 for the same price, I would take the G4 without thinking about it for a second.

Pioneer Electronics Audition Series XW_NAS3-K Docking Station for iPod (Black) Review

Pioneer Electronics Audition Series XW_NAS3-K Docking Station for iPod (Black)

David Clark H10-13.4 Review

David Clark H10-13.4
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have not tried an ANR (electronic noise canceling) headset to compare, as I can't get myself to shell out close to $1000 -- yet. What surprised me about the David Clark series was how many people vouched for their durability and customer service. I chose this relatively newer model 10-13.4 over the more traditional 10-30/40 series because I preferred the gooseneck-style mic boom. My head and ears are not overly large, and the headset is very comfortable, provides an effective seal against noise, was not objectionably hot nor heavy during summertime, and allowed wearing sunglasses without any problems. The pillow top spreads the headset weight on my head so I don't really notice them. The longest flight segment I have flown with these is only about 2 hours, so I cannot judge if long flight segments remain as comfortable.
A purchaser will need to order a carrying case, and one might also order some extra ear cushions.
To compare, I tried my instructor's minimalist Clarity Aloft ($500+) -- a completely different style of extremely lightweight, in-the-ear passive NR headset and found them comparable in noise abatement, but much lighter. Other pilots who fly a lot prefer this style.
Pro: Excellent model for the price point, good quality manufacturing, reportedly excellent customer service. No need for batteries and similar maintenance of ANR style headsets.
Con: Would be nice if the manufacturers would include a carrying case for the headsets.

Dension Gateway Five GWF1V21 iPod USB Bluetooth Adapter for Volkswagen Review

Dension Gateway Five GWF1V21 iPod USB Bluetooth Adapter for Volkswagen
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have purchased this item to mount on a 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible.
On the plus side:
Everything works great with a "Boost" radio, I can control the iPod (Mini, Nano or standard iPod) from my steering wheel controls (previous - next - volume up - volume down) with my radio (6 playlists selection - previous - next - forward - backward) as well as displays the ID3 Tags on the radio (song title - artist) - feature the factory BMW iPod adapter doesn't offer (to date).
On the minus side:
The Ice Link Plus Item model number is I20-BMW-T, Where the "T" stands for TRUNK!!! This specific model is for trunk mounting and will adapt to the cable plugged into your CD-Changer (iPod will replace your CD changer). Mounting it on your dashboard will require a little bit of knowledge to know how to connect it or getting the Ice Link Plus model number I20-BMW (doesn't seem to be available here).
The second detail is that you have to configure the Ice Link Plus in order to have the ID3 titles displayed on you radio (text was turned off when I installed it).
While not being too difficult to do (settings are set by pressing the "6" button on your radio and configured directly on your iPod) it is a feature not mentionned in the Ice Link documentation! In fact, documentation both on the Dension website and the product box is very scarce and support was not available from Ice Link (emails never answered)
Conclusion:
This adapter displays the titles of your songs on your radio while the more expensive factory BMW adapter will not. It has a dock preventing your iPod from "flying" from side to side at every curve and will allow you to mount it wherever you'll feel appropriate: glove box, armrest, side of the radio, ... (the BMW adapter solution has the iPod connector mounted in your glove box only).
Last but not least: Should you change your car, the Ice Link should work with your next car if you get the appropriate connector cable from Dension.
I am very happy and so is my Mini :-)

HP H470wbt Officejet Mobile Printer Review

HP H470wbt Officejet Mobile Printer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The HP H470wbt is HP's answer to the "on the go" printer. If you haven't read the spec you will see this particular incarnation comes with a battery for on the road use. The battery is charged while on the printer much like a laptop.
The overall quality of print is passable but not top of the line nor a good choice if you want nice photo-quality prints.
However, if you need to print normal text or perhaps a page from the internet, it does fine. The pages come out at a fair pace (better than one would expect from a small printer) and the quality is acceptable.
The footprint is relatively small and if you plan to carry around with you, expect to use something like a backpack or camera style backpack for your laptop and the printer.
The blue tooth that comes with it works well enough. Just remember to install the blue tooth drivers then deal with Windows itself (in that order).
The one real caveat relates to small printer small ink cartridges. One has to realize to keep this unit small and consume little power, the cartridges are on the small side. Fortunately, they are easily found at various merchants and not an odd special cartridge(s). There is the option to get slightly larger ones but again, the larger ones are also fairly small in output.
Last on the not so good list - HP insists on some of their inkjets to use flimsy mechanisms for housing the ink cartridges. In this case they have some "wires" bent to work with the install assembly of the cartridges. This is asking for trouble sooner or later.
I have not ran enough paper through to experience any paper feed problems and thus, cannot comment on this. This is an important part and as those who have had laser printers and inkjets know this can be a problem that occurs over time.
Overall the unit is passable and in some respect very nice. I give it three stars rather than four because of the ink install assembly. The blue tooth, compactness, reasonable output are all to be appreciated.

Samsung Galaxy Tab (Verizon Wireless) Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab (Verizon Wireless)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As a current iPad owner who also uses the Droid X, I must say that after spending 15 minutes with this thing I absolutely love it. The size is fantastic in that its a signifcantly improved viewing experience over the 4.3 inch Droid X screen (which is also great) and it is easy to hold with one hand and navigate with the other - an added bonus is that it also fits in a suit coat pocket.
The Microsoft Exchange integration with email/calendar/contacts is seemless and allows for almost all of the functionality provided via a laptop. One of the drawbacks of the iPad is its poor integration with Outlook (couldn't delete, move emails while one a plane working offline - not a problem with the Tab).
The screen is gorgeous, speed is quick and the Google location services (GPS, Latitude, Maps, Place and the list goes on and on) are fantastic.
I would highly recommend this product.
Update - after 1 week of ownership, I love it even more. As someone who travels (4 cities over last 5 days), I'm considering leaving my notebook home on business travel with future trips. The benefits of the form factor can't be overstated - it fits in my jeans pocket when out casually and in my suit jacket during business. It also smartly switches from WiFi to 3G when a WiFi network is not within reach and vice versa (so that you don't unnecessarily consume data via your cellular carrier). I also watched a movie on my East to West coast trip - 3 hour and 13 minute move burned less than half the battery time. It's also great to be able to modify .xls documents when needed - seamless integration with outlook / attachments.
Absolutely love this thing...

Swype Keyboard
An alternative to the Android virtual keyboard, the Swype virtual keyboard (seen at the right) allows you to input text by swiping the finger with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard. Based on testing, speed and accuracy are equal to or better than the traditional keyboard-tapping method. You can activate the Swype keyboard by pressing and holding in a text field, wait for popup to appear, click Input Method, and then select Swype.

In the image to the left, the word "quick" was generated from tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. A key advantage to Swype is that there is no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry.
