(More customer reviews)I bought this computer because I watch a lot of television on the internet and I thought that this looked like a good model for such entertainment. I'm happy to report that it does an excellent job of playing media, whether it's streamed from hulu or played from a DVD. The picture is great, and the sound is pretty good, at least compared to other computers I've listened to. (I haven't used the TV tuner feature, so can't attest to that). Set up was very easy; the only surprise was just how heavy the monitor/desktop is, which makes moving it in place a pain. I'm not a fan of the wireless mouse, but I generally tend to prefer wired mouses, so I wouldn't hold that against this item.
My one complaint? This is my first touch screen computer, and it hadn't occured to me that the problem with a touch screen is that if you own cats (I do) and your cats are in the habit of curling up on the desk beside the computer (mine are), they may bump the screen and seriously mess up whatever you're doing (example: accidentally pausing or unpausing a film I'm viewing). Obviously, this is a defect with the cats, and not with the computer . . . but pet-owners or parents of small children should be advised that the touch screen adds an additional opportunity for little monkeys or furballs to interfere with your work. You'll have to decide whether you think it's worth the irritation. I don't regret the purchase, despite that minor setback.
