(More customer reviews)I have an HTC Touch Pro2 (Win 6.5)recently received and a Palm Pre 2 (WebOS 2.1)a few weeks older, both unlocked. I switch back and forth every few days as I evaluate the more conventional menu driven Windows OS, the more intuitive WebOS, and the form factors of the two phones--HTC larger with keyboard that slides left from long edge; the Palm smaller with keyboard that slides down from the bottom.
Both phones function well in general; battery life similar in my usage (day to day-and-a-half); call quality good. Touch screens of both are temperamental, i.e. response can take two or three touches and adjacent options sometimes are activated by less that very precise finger placement.
The lack of navigation keys on the Palm is aggravating and you do NOT have the option of using a stylus--none provided and screen does not respond if you use one "on hand".
Overall my initial reaction is that the HTC is more "capable" (more features and apps included out-of-the-box) while the Palm is more "fun" to use.
