(More customer reviews)I bought 3 SL78H handsets to work with the SL785. These are fantastic. The size and appearance makes them a great addition to any desktop or nightstand. The digital time display changes to just the time and dims after a few moments so it does not leave a bright light glowing and keeping you awake. Alternatively, you can set the display to show an analog clock (one with hands).
Voice quality is fantastic, features are comprehensive, and the range is excellent. The built-in phone book allows you to have multiple numbers associated with each entry, e.g., home, mobile, work, and by using the included software which can download your Outlook contacts to the phone book, you can program bypass numbers for 3rd party international service providers. This is the 2nd Gigaset telephone system I have had and I bought these new models as soon as they were available in the United States.
While a "package" of the base and additional handsets might be a bit pricey when compared to other wireless telephones the Gigaset system is worth every cent.
