(More customer reviews)Overall this seems to be a very sturdy phone. I have dropped it a few times, but only very minor nicks to the plastic occurred. This phone is also waterproof, however I haven't tested it. I find many of the applications very handy, and I use the built in flashlight frequently. This phone is easy to use, but without all the bells and whistles of many of today's phones. All the extra games and applications on many of the newer phones is just stuff I don't want to shuffle through to get to the applications I really use, therefore I chose this basic phone. Call quality is great and texting is relatively easy. The downside to texting on this phone is that to use the t9, you must first hold down the "*" key to turn on the t9 before every text. This is just a minor inconvenience however, and will become a habit over time. Another inconvenience to having this phone in the United States is that you cannot send or receive sms (picture) messages. I've gone through both my carrier and Samsung to determine if it was possible to send or receive sms messages on this phone, and it isn't. Again, this is just a convenience for me, but I don't necessarily need sms messaging. This is a great phone for the outdoorsman or person that works out in the elements.
