(More customer reviews)I have used Gigasets for a number of years. My first was the 4000 series and when these aged out I waited for the new SL785/SL78H products. I did try similar products from other manufacturers but there is nothing like the Siemens Gigaset.
The sound quality if fantastic,and the features are easily the best thought out in the industry. When you have multiple handsets (1-SL785 base and up to 6 SL78H handsets) you have a great "system" that provides a full intercom, transfer of calls, integration with Bluetooth headsets, answering machine, speaker phone, calendar and alarm clock, and individual directories on each handset.
Additionally, the internal directory on each handset has the ability to store long numbers so you can include bypass numbers and special access codes that usually exceed the space allowed on most "home" wireless telephones.
The SL785/SL78H is the closest I have come to finding a home telephome system that works like an office system.
Yes, it is expensive but it is worth every penny.
The units I have (SL785/SL78H) are traditional wireline phones but these are also available in IP models.
