I actually purchased this device on eBay. So the price was $70 more than here on Amazon. Alas, my mistake. But despite the price factor I don't regret that I own Pocketbook 302. I have a white color version of this device. It is truly one of the great e-book readers on the market today. It got a WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. I was able to connect it to my home network without any problems. The device has a touch screen and a stylus that comes with it. When you turn the pages there is less than a second interval, which is of course a very nice indicator of how fast the device corresponds to the button commands. It got a whole bunch of nice little applications such as web browser and notepad. It also has some games like Sudoku and Snake and others which I didn't really play. You can configure buttons on the device to your liking from the settings menu. The main deal breaker for me was that this book reads almost any language (in my case Cyrillic) and in any format you can think of (.rtf, .txt, .fb2, .pdf,) So you basically don't need to install any software on your computer in order to convert books. Just connect it to your PC and transfer the file, I usually use txt and fb2 formats. You can hook this device up to any available WiFi and download a book right on it using a web browser. The only drawback of this device was a glossy screen, when on direct light; you could see your face in there like in the mirror. But yesterday I received a matte screen protector from the seller, free of charge and applied on the screen. And I must say that it does make a significant difference. The screen is a lot less glossy now. So if you thinking of purchasing this device you should ask a seller for matte screen protector. Another thing what you should do is to update the firmware with the latest version. Along with the firmware in zipped file, there comes a new improved browser, you only need to copy it to the device. I found it working very nicely. I don't really like the design of the flipping leather cover. Because you have to kind of glue you device to the sticky part on the cover. I think the design of the case could have been realized better, for example like on Sony e-book devices. The battery life is really great, but I noticed that when you use wifi and web browsing it drains kind of fast. But when you just read the books it can last for more than a month. Overall it is a really nice ebook reader and I highly recommend it for those people who want to be able to read on various languages, without installing any conversion software on your PC and having a contract-free ebook reading device.
