I received mine in the end of December. A month is probably not enough to discover all bugs but so far I'm happy with the phone.
First of all, it is really fast. The 1GHz processor does it's job.
The screen resolution is high and the screen size is big enough to surf the web with comfort.
HTC shell is something new to me (I used to have E-ten with Spb Mobile shell) but getting used to it.
Cannot say that I'm impressed with the still picture quality (SE phones have better pictures with less Mpx) but video recording is relatively good. There is no button for shutter so you always have to click on the screen to take picture - not convenient.
I need to charge my phone every second day - that definitely exceeded my expectations, taking into consideration fast processor and big hi-res screen.
The screen uses almost full width of the body, which sometimes causes unexpected clicks when I grab the phone (slowly getting used to it). When browsing e-mails the shell has button "reply to all" on the left side and when you click it, it changes to "send". One time I grabbed the phone and it replied to all and sent an empty message to a huge distribution list. So keep it in mind and be careful ;) I hope there will be a way to protect it somehow.
The phone is bigger than I expected - it's exactly the size of 12oz beer can (you can hide one behind the phone).
The sound level and quality in conversations is excellent. Also, my Highlander hands-free connects very quickly with good sound level.
So far I did not have chance to use built-in GPS. I don't expect anything special comparing to other similar phones.
It does not have a stylus. If you turn the phone, full size keyboard is big enough but.. I think I will get a stylus. At least you need one, when you surf Internet.
Overall - some little flaws, which I found so far, will not be enough to downgrade my 5 star rating. I really enjoy the phone and recommend it to others who is ready to spend [...] bucks on a gadget.

The connection on the side where you plug the AC charger is BAD!! Have to wiggle the plug to get it to charge and be careful that you don't bump it or you have to wiggle the cord again. This should not be happening, the laptop is only about 6 months old. This laptop comes with no web-cam. I would not reccomend this laptop to anyone.

I love this phone. However, I live in Sweden so beware that some features may not be exactly the same. UPDATE: I have now had this phone for about a month and have these comments (see UPDATE notes).
First, this is a great phone. Hands down...and I live in Sweden where there are more cellphones per capita than anywhere else. As for the other reviewer...I don't know why someone complains about the virtual keyboard and no physical keypad. Buy a phone with a keyboard, silly, if you don't like tapping the screen. I for one used to have a Nokia E61 with a real keyboard. Great. But, I really like this onscreen keyboard. It's fast, easy to use, and even though it suggests words for you (and gets smarter with time) you can suggest the word you want from four suggestions (iPhone has only two). This phone is obviously trying to get you to shy away from the iPhone...and you should. It's that good.
Pros:
Flexibility - I can configure the homescreens any way I want. UPDATE: This is just great. Really. I can change the phone as I learn what I need and don't need. Lot's of hype in the cellphone world, but few useful tools. This really helps me stay connected and it is easy and quick to make a direct call, take a picture, check my google map position, send an email, etc.
Fast - this phone is really fast and does multitasking very well. I can surf the web while listening to a tune while using the GPS...and it doesn't bog down! UPDATE: Yep, this really works. Just went hiking in the woods of Sweden...where the logging road ends. Did perfectly. Used my GPS while I listened to my radiostation on LastFM through the phone...in the woods! The iPhone bogs down.
Form - it's fits really nicely in my pocket. Not too heavy, not too big. UPDATE: The screen doesn't scratch badly at all, and if you want additional scratch protection go to [...].
Battery - stellar battery life. UPDATE: Go easy on the app downloads from the Market/app store. Some apps drain the battery. Again, the iPhone drains your battery badly.
Market - ok, so it's not the Apple store, but it has a lot of useful programs. UPDATE: I have a great email program (K-9), push SMS (SMS popup), instant access to wifi/GPS/bluetooth etc (Useful switches).
Google syncing - works perfectly to sync my web calender with my phone with my sidebar at home. UPDATE: Really love this one. Type in a new calender event and your google calender and your google toolbar are updated within the minute. Sweet.
Cons:
Really, so far I haven't found any...except to figure out how to get the same timezone on all three calenders...UPDATE: I did.
UPDATE: Actually, the calender is subpar...so far until the Market provides a new one. You really can't adjust it very well. I would like different colors for different events; start the week on a Monday; Week number.
However, buy this phone and you won't be disappointed!

I had gotten a Dell Inspiron 1545 in July, and have had nothing but problems. First the JavaScript didn't work, and their tech support said software support costs extra, like over 200 bucks! Then last week the DVD player broke..
This Asus computer has the i3 chip and is already very user freindly. No messing with bad tech service, Java works great, DVD player is more sturdy, and a much better value.

Alpine INA-W900 - Navigation system with DVD player, LCD monitor, digital player and radio Review

Alpine INA-W900 - Navigation system with DVD player, LCD monitor, digital player and radio
Average Reviews:

If you know Alpine products, then you know that their quality level is always superb. This unit is no exception. I installed it in my wife's FJ Cruiser with only one snag (see below) using the Scosche double-DIN kit. Sound quality is excellent as to be expected from Alpine. Frankly, I was a bit shocked at how much power this thing was cranking out over what I had *thought* was a pretty anemic stock speaker setup.
The GPS navigation is excellent. The maps very accurate, which got me home last week during a bad snow storm by way of back roads when the mains were taking an hour to move 1/4 mile (literally). The variety of map views is very helpful as well; for example, sometimes you want the map always keeping North to the top, sometimes you want it to rotate so that the top is always what is ahead of you. The 3D view is interesting but I don't find myself using it all that much.
iPod integration is strong but not perfect. I love the fact that I could stick an old iPod in the glove compartment and control it via the Alpine unit. Pretty much a 'hide it and forget it' scenario. However, there is a periodic issue where the Alpine won't find the iPod at startup. The resolution is easy: unplug the iPod and plug it back in. Still, it is a little annoying.. I believe that the problem would not occur if the Alpine unit simply had a 5-second wait state on bootup as I think what is happening is the iPod isn't always ready immediately (due to battery drain or whatever) and the Alpine doesn't seem to do a periodic query to see if anything is connected.
Bluetooth integration seems flawless. None of my devices had any trouble pairing with the unit. When I get in the truck with my iPhone, the unit picks up my address books and provides caller ID type functionality. I would have preferred if they had given a bit more options to the microphone rather than my having to mount the boom mic, but the sound quality is very very high, even at road speed. The Bluetooth box is small and easy to tuck into your dash during installation.
Similarly, the satellite radio setup was pretty simple. Be aware that while Sirius works out of the box, if you want to use XM, you are going to need to pick up the XM Direct 2 kit (http://www.amazon.com/Satellite-Alpine-Receivers-CNPALP1-CNP2000UC/dp/B0030L7YH8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296405550&sr=8-1). This thing can be a little annoying to set up (see my review there) but nothing too terrible. If you don't have a preference, I'd go with Sirius just to save you the extra $ and hookup time (yes I know they are the same company now but the hookup remains different).
The screen is bright and colorful and can be adjusted somewhat to match the color tone of your vehicle (nice touch). One thing I particularly liked about the unit is the auto-dimming capability that measures the ambient light within the vehicle and adjusts the screen's brightness as appropriate. This is much nicer than having to wire the unit into the car's internal dimmer, particularly since you can fine-tune how dark or bright you want the screen to adjust to.
One thing I would highly recommend is picking up PAC Audio's P7 video override box. This overrides the brake signals and lets you have full control over the head unit at any time. Now, that said, *I AM NOT* advocating watching DVDs or doing setup functions while driving; please don't be one of "those people". However, the brake wiring is a real pain to hook up and in some cases actually requires you to drill a hole in your firewall! That's a bit much to install a car stereo in my opinion. These wires are mandatory, however, as I found out the hard way. We had no real interest in playing DVDs on this unit (at least until we get screens for the back seat) so I thought I could just skip that step. WRONG. If you do so, you won't have access to a lot of your configuration menus, which will in turn not let you turn on your rearview camera. This was a bit annoying. For $23 shipped from Amazon, the P7 is a no-brainer. The main reason I list this as a gripe is that the documentation does not tell you ANYWHERE that these wires are mandatory and, in fact, 90% of the system features will work without them. This led to us going down the rabbit hole a bit trying to figure out why the camera wasn't turning on despite the head unit switching to rear-view mode.
Hooking up the rear-view camera was easy; it is a one-wire installation. I used the Alpine HCA-107D (http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-HCE-C107D-Rear-View-Camera/dp/B002K3BRRU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296407060&sr=8-1) and had no real issue with it other than the above "why can't I activate this?!" puzzle.
The only other area I wasn't particularly thrilled with is the interface. The touch-screen is nice but in some cases the series of steps you have to take to access a particular menu is a bit awkward. In addition, the pop-up control menu hides itself much too quickly, requiring you to tap the screen again to bring it back up. You can override this by telling the system not to hide it, but I would have much preferred to be able to specify a hide-delay time instead.
All in all, this is a top notch unit and well worth the money. It simply does everything and it does it well. I feel safer knowing that my wife's truck now has a top notch GPS along with a hands-free setup that will actually get used (vs so many that have sound quality that makes them questionable).

Gateway LT3119u 11.6-Inch Netbook (NightSky Black) Review

Gateway LT3119u 11.6-Inch Netbook (NightSky Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros: Good performance, nice size screen
Cons: Large, heavy battery, battery life
I got this netbook to have something small and light to do light stuff like surf the web and write the occasional letter. When I opened the box I was surprised by the size of the battery. It did not look like the one in the picture. When I inserted it, it stuck out of the back of the chassis for about an inch. You do not see this in the pictures. The battery shown in the pictures is inaccurate, and appears to be a three cell battery rather than the chunky six cell battery that this thing actually comes with. So beware, with the battery this thing is nine inches wide, not the 7.9 listed in the specs. It also adds at least a half pound of weight to the listed 3.02 pounds in the spec. And for all this, you still only get about four hours of regular use. If you are looking for a small, light netbook that will run on battery all day, this is not for you.
On the other hand, if you are looking for performance that is equivalent to a low end laptop but much better than the average netbook, this is the one. It comes with 2GB of memory instead of the 1GB standard in most netbooks. It has a larger screen than most. It comes with the full version Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit instead of Windows 7 Starter 32 bit (read handicapped). This means that you get Windows 7 Aero and all the other normal Windows stuff that is missing from the starter version.
I uninstalled Windows Office trial and MS Works. No need to buy much software these days. I then loaded OpenOffice (MS Office compatible office suite), VLC Media Player (plays any media you need), Google Chrome (the fastest browser out there), Picassa (for organizing and sharing photos), Photo Pos Pro (great full feature picture editor), and TrueCrypt (creates encrypted virtual partitions to store the stuff you don't want seen if the netbook is stolen), all free open source programs. I also uninstalled the Norton 60 day trial software and installed Vipre (not free, but currently the best protection). Then I tested watching videos, editing photos, working on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, etc. This little guy handled everything without a hitch, many times handling having several of these programs open at the same time.
In conclusion, I really like this netbook and have started using it for more things than I originally envisioned. If you want a mini laptop, this is it. You just have to live with the clunky battery.

I ordered my tablet directly from Lattezone, and received it in about 5 days. While the overall quality seems to be quite good, I quickly discovered that the internal GPS was inoperative and would not lock-on to any satellites. I sent an email to Latte and received a reply stating that there would be a firmware update that would address this issue.
I subsequently tried to contact Latte by phone as well as email to determine when this firmware update would be available and how it would be implemented. I received no replies to any of my emails and despite waiting on "your call is very important to us" for hours on several different occasions, my calls were never answered.
One of the main reasons for purchasing this tablet was for use with the built-in navigation application, but this is impossible due to the "blind" GPS.
Based on the abysmal customer service, I would recommend a different brand of tablet.
